On Friday, November 13th 2009, Sound Connection Entertainment team members Jason Jani and Jeffrey Balkin provided DJ entertainment services for Allison and Justin’s Wedding Reception. Â The wedding reception was held at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston NJ. Â The Crystal Plaza is a beautiful location which boasts elegance, class and is a perfect venue for a dream wedding reception.
The Sound Connection Entertainment production firm created the atmosphere Allison and Justin were looking to create on their special day. Allison & Justin’s vision included a combination of Contemporary Elegance with a flavor of Nightclub Influence. They wanted to capture the elegance of the day but to cater to their families and friends with a modern approach to the wedding entertainment, and the Sound Connection Entertainment team delivered.
The couple was introduced to “Love Takes Over” by Kelly Rowland, and SCE used a custom mix created by Jeffrey Balkin. The entrance lit up the room with overwhelming energy and truly set the tone for the rest of the celebration.
Allison was an absolutely stunned bride, who seemed to glow all night in her beautiful bridal gown. Justin the handsome groom looked very sharp in his pin stripped suit and two tone shoes. Together as one, they made a picture perfect couple.
Allison and Justin elected to have SCE provide music for the cocktail hour and reception. In addition to the music services provided by SCE, we also provided our multi-media package which included two fifty inch plasma monitors to display montages, candid photos, and a ceremony recap from the church. The ceremony recap was presented during the later portion of the evening and included the vows of the bride and groom from the ceremony which took place eariier in the day. The couple also elected to have a doo-wop group perform for 30 mins during the celebration. The 6 piece ensemble named, Joel and the Dynamics, did a great job playing to the older guests in attendance.
Due to the low lighting conditions, we were not able to create a video blog but we did detail the day using our candid photography. We also created a memory montage that can be seen on the lower part of this bog entry.
On a personal level, Allison has worked at Lounge 11 in Hoboken for a number of years, and I have known here from sometime from having the opportunity of playing the club at as a guest DJ. It was awesome to be part of the Kealy’s celebration and we all wish them the very best in their future together.
