Most people reading this blog know of Jason Jani and Jeffrey Balkin as the leaders of Sound Connection Entertainment. What most of you reading this blog may not be aware of is their alter ego, the “Blend Brothers”. The Blend Brothers are a remix production crew made up of SCE’s own Jason Jani and Jeff Balkin.

Created in August of 2008, the Blend Brothers were selected to become a part of and featured on Crooklyn Clan’s Crack4DJs.net remixing site. Crack4DJs.net is a sister site of Crooklyn Clan’s prestigious “The Vault” and “Rated H” remixing sites. In the last 18 months, the Blend Brothers have been a top 10 ranking monthly artist for 14 months and a top 5 ranking monthly artist for 7 of those months. In addition to that accomplishment, The Blend Brothers are ranked 2nd in all time sales with thousands of remixes, and they are on their way to becoming number 1.
Since August 2008, the Blend Brothers have put out over 350 releases to date, totalling over 650 separate music remixes. In an ever-growing and fantastically over-saturated remixing market, the Blend Brothers have managed to make their mark on the industry and stay on the forefront of whats new an whats hot from a music persectivie. Whether is be a remix of a brand-new pop/top 40 song, an old classic and anything in between, there’s nothing stopping their creative flow and drive and desire to give the music industry a new twist to the songs that everyone is listening to.
The remixes produced by the Blend Brothers have been heard in clubs, radio stations and at mobile / private events across the country…. The remix work done by the Blend Brothers has been featured by fellow mixshow DJs on local radio stations like; Pulse 87.7, Party FM 105.3/87.7, 100.3 z100, 103.5ktu, Wired 96, 106.3 and 92.3now …. and thats just in the NY metro area. Outside of the NY metro area, the Blend Brothers remix material has been heard on sirius/xm radio as well as nearly 50 other FM radio stations across the US.
The creativity aisnt just limited to club and radio rotations, the Blend Brothers have created a number of personal remix edits for other DJs, Dance Teams and clients. Blend Brothers mixes have been used by couples to uniquely start of their wedding with custom intro mix (where they enter a room for the first time as husband and wife) to dances featured at industry functions like the 2009 DJ Times ‘ DJ of The Year ‘ competition…. and the newest edit of “I got you” by James Brown will be featured by former DJ of the Year, Sean “Big Daddy” McKee at the Mobile Beat show in Las Vegas (Feb 8th, 2010)…
