- Sound Connection Entertainment DJ Nick Ditri
Nicholas Ditri is no stranger to the music industry and has built his entire career on a well rounded musical foundation. Nick started playing the piano at the age of 7 and quickly discovered his talent as a natural musician and passion for music composition. After years of developing his talent, Nick started DJing at the age of 13. Influenced by artists like Grandmaster Flash, and DJ Scribble, Nick used his sense of music to excel as a DJ using two turntables and a microphone through his teenage years.
To expand on his piano and DJ background, Nick enrolled and was accepted to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston MA, where he honed his performance and music production skills. During his college days, Nick performed at nightclubs across the East Coast and Canada as well hundreds of private events. While at school, he also co-founded his own mobile entertainment company. In 2008, Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Songwriting and Production.
With his education received at Berklee, Nick along with 2 other classmates created an independent record label, Akratone Music Group which is music production and licencing company. Since its creation the Arkatone Music Group has released over one hundred of his own original records and productions
Nick’s most recent major accomplishment (along with fellow Sound Connection Entertainment team member Daniel Boselovic) is co-creating the remix and original production team called “The Disco Fries”. As a team, “The Disco Fries” have worked with artists such as Flo Rida, Nelly Furtado, Shakira and Fatman Scoop to name a few celebrity clients. In 2009, “The Disco Fries” received their first Platinum album for their remix of song, ”Sugar” by Flo Rida, which was a Top 40 radio hit worldwide.
Nick values entertainment excellence, possesses talent as a classically trained pianist, is an internationally recognized remix producer and is a well rounded open format professional DJ. With hundreds of events under his belt as a DJ and Pianist, Nick adds a dimension to the Sound Connection Entertainment team that is not commonly found in the mobile entertainment industry. His ability to adapt to any age crowd has made him a successful event host at SCE.
